What We Do

The Art of Sacred Living is a vehicle for teaching mindfulness, finding meaning, and revealing the sacred in ordinary acts of everyday living.
Our intention is to facilitate increased heart and soul connections to ourselves, each other, our communities, our planet and the divine. To accomplish our goals of mindfulness, gratitude, and reverence, we work in many modalities.

Workshops
For seven years, Laura DiVilio-Rebick and Christine Freeman have been leading workshops for women. In our workshops, we create a safe and nurturing environment for self-discovery, increased awareness, and creativity to flourish. Our work area becomes a sacred space in which to share thoughts and feelings, music, poetry, laughter, and tears. Using creative visualization, artwork, movement, and ritual, we provide opportunities for transformation. More

Rituals
Together and individually, Laura and Christine have guided individuals and groups in creating ceremonies of meaning and depth. Meaningful ritual acknowledges the importance of transitions, celebrates life passages and personal achievements, and is attuned to the cycles of nature. Entering a ritual together connects the participants to their deeper selves, to each other, and to the cosmos. We have designed rituals for significant events (such as wedding showers, a young woman's coming of age, becoming an elder, honouring death/loss), seasonal celebrations, and personal rituals (for purification, blessing a new home, personal commitments and achievements).
